Made of high-strength alloy steel, strict heat treatment ensures that the joint has uniform metallographic structure and pressure bearing capacity. The materials used fully comply with the American ASTM and AISI standards, and the product technical indicators fully comply with the API Spec 6A standard. The product has reliable sealing, fast loading and unloading, and good general interchangeability. The product can be connected with pipeline threads, oil pipe threads, butt welding or compression seal ends.

 

FIG1004 union 5” and 6” are both rubber O-ring seals. They have high concentricity requirements, otherwise sealing accidents may occur. In order to overcome this situation, two new sizes of butt welds have been introduced.

 

The union is installed with a lip type elastomer seal. This new type of union is called "FIG1004 type". It can be used for standard service or sour gas (H2s).
